How can I make my games more popular?

note: this is my first post

How can I make my games more popular? Advertising and sponsorships cost robux, and my games are buried in the endless piles of games that are just spammed assests.

I know this is similar to other topics but the suggestions in other topics won’t really help me. I don’t want people to play my games so I can earn robux, but rather so my games will not always be empty and playerless. Making interesting thumbnails will not increase the amont of players my game shows up to, so I need a different strategy.

Can you describe your game?

Some tips are to make it fun, and make the player come back, being original helps a lot too

There are many posts like these, and it really depends what type of game you have.

You need marketing! Any VALID kind would work.
Starting from Roblox advertising, sponsorships, or YouTube streamers, partnerships, even discord featuring…

It will take you a lot of effort and time, especially since you don’t have money nor influences

To actually get into the market of popular Roblox games, you NEED robux. If you don’t have robux, there is almost no chance your game can take off. Marketing on Roblox by advertising or sponsoring is key. Try earning robux by doing comissions or freelance work, that’s a good way to start earning robux. Advertising on off-platform sites such as Twitter, Youtube or Facebook always helps too. You need to get as many people as possible to see your game in order for it to succeed. You need to get a key audience in mind and advertise to them. Make sure the game you are developing is eyecatching and has an interesting concept/idea!

That’s why I’m asking. I’m not really sure what I should do to improve my impression rate and market my games.

yes, but those cost like 10K robux, and you need 100 bucks for that kind of thing.

a game called blox fight. It’s still under construction, but basically It’s a game where you fight players on a rotating cube. The game also will save your money, so players could try to stay in the game and join several times to get more money. The problem is that no one is ever active in my games, so there is nothing for players to do.

I need a solution on how to improve impressions, not how to make my games appealing. Advertising and sponsoring is out of question, because those cost too much robux.

Like I said, Freelance work and commissions can earn you robux for sponsoring…

I sort of disagree with this, you can earn players by asking streamers to play your game, big and small ones, and through social media.

You can promote your game to small streamers, or social media.

Not a great way to maintain players however.

advertise it on different platform

that’s a good idea. If flamingo plays a game it almost instantly gets famous

If you’re not super established, avoid using unique names.

Look to what speedrun or obby games do, try to get some semblence of what the game is in the player’s head as they glance at it.

Trust me, having games playerless stinks. There are many ways to go about it, you can
ask your friends to test it out with you. Some times players will join a game if there is a number bigger then 0 and 1.
A very unique game name helps too.
But like @RogueTrooper2255 said, don’t try to be to unique at first unless perhaps you have tags in your description. don’t over do tags though, then it’s just annoying.

Honestly, the only way is to advertise. If you don’t put robux in, its really hard to get it out unless you are incredibly talented. That’s just how this system works, unfortunately.

I’ve looked at some of your games to see what the issue is. You’ve churned out an absurd amount of content, and from what i can tell it is fairly low quality and filled with free models. Almost NONE of the games have icons and none have thumbnails. If you are releasing stuff like this, they wont get players. Start small with an obby or something and then work on more difficult projects.
