any ideas what I could add to make my map a bit less bland?
The texture seems too repetitive. Make the size of the snow bigger and try to find a texture that is seamless.
Other than that add benches and whatnot to fill the space depending on what the play style is.

You could add different assets around, such as Rocks and varied blocky terrain instead of a smooth path leading up the mountain. Aside from that I love the trees.

From what i can see, this looks like a mountain, here is a list of things that you can add:
- Paths
- Fences
- small or big wooden cabins
- Frozen lakes
- Waterfall
- Rocks
- Ropes (climbable)

You need to build lots of snowfall and snowy rocks, frozen water, especially with motels, cable cars for sightseeing.ok?

Also try making clumps, or large piles of snow. This summer I was in Colorado and up in the mountains they had massive piles of packed in snow taller than my car.
