Hey everyone, I have been having an issue with my subway train in my game.
I have been trying to figure out why my train chassis keeps shaking so much. It happens when I reach certain speeds. Around the the speed of 30, my train chassis starts shaking, and then after 70, it goes back to normal. I don’t know if it has to do with friction, the connection of the actual train body and the chassis, or if has to do something with the bogies. If anybody could help me, it would be greatly appreciated because the shaking chassis brings down the quality of the game.
I took this video on my main account (this is my alt) and as you can see, when I reach about the speed of 30, the train ends up shaking around. I got stuck right before the platform for some reason but that’s not relevant.
What are you using for Wheels? I’m assuming this is a physics based train.
If you are using Unions or MeshParts then chances are they aren’t perfectly round. You can look into your File > Studio Settings > Physics or Rendering (can’t remember at the moment) > Show Decomposition geometry and check the box. It’s show you the true physical shape of the wheels, not the visually rendered shape. You’ll probably see odd bits sticking out.
