well obviously, the models, and animations matter.
But i think also,
the sound effects should swapped out and probably should not use toolbox ones, and be more varied. (sound effect pitches can be slightly higher or lower, footsteps sounding different on each step, etc)
More objects that have more glow/lighting to them. For ex: the vending machine at the start could have some lighting into it.
The elevator doors also aren’t metallic enough looking?
And, the design of the level itself can really affect how the map feels.
Ex: the elevator and the lobby separated by a door is kinda weird. And, how the lobby is separated into more doors?
of course there’s the lighting in general, as it could affect alot. Like for some reason the carpet is reflective glows? (if it is carpet in the elevators).
I feel like the colours are also not varied enough. The door colour matches with the lower part of the wall in the lobby? And the floor being brighter than the wall
the camera is kinda odd aswell to me? It feels a bit too static, but too much when panning?
(i dont know though)
Hey DanD44no! I played Network Blackout on my stream. The atmosphere and visuals are really strong and it feels like a proper immersive experience with great custom assets. The only downside is that the character movement is too slow, which makes the pacing feel less dynamic. With faster movement and more interaction, this could become a really engaging game.
My Scores: Gameplay 6 • Visuals 8 • Originality 6 • Polish 8 | Games Radar
There is no way that is a Roblox game! What the hell. Good job ![]()
