I want to make the word test to be a negated part and I’ve tried to change the type of part, but still not able to make it a union.
Is the text a mesh? You can’t use union operations on meshes. Why would you want to do that anyway?
It first was a mesh, but then I made it a special mesh and still couldn’t.

Well, I was trying to make a light that points at text and I want the text to be a shadow on the ground.
You can only use unions or parts. I HEAVILY recommend doing this in blender or maya, it is so much more simple and works great.
Ok, I will try to use maya since that sounds new to me and probably is easier.
