Instead of just having 1 part for the walls have many and layer it like each was a panel.

I highly suggest you better the lighting and use the ‘Professional Texture Pack’. Link: (https://www.roblox.com/library/refer/2455753749/Professional-Texture-Pack?Category=Models&SortType=Relevance&SortAggregation=AllTime&SearchKeyword=professional%20texture%20pack&CreatorId=0&Page=1&Position=1&SearchId=90aaf453-5113-4b5c-aed0-ecfd38f2afd1) This texture model pack enhances the look of your build by a LOT, I use it all the time and it makes my build so much better. There is many Extieor Brick textures that you can use, so try them out! You can also change the color of the texture in the Properties section of the Part.

Also, it seems you didn’t use much blender models. Modeling and using meshes from Blender makes your game look 1000x better, highly recommended among many builders.

I see that you used a decal for the L33T SCIENCE sign, use the 3D Letters plugin, here’s the link! (https://www.roblox.com/library/2273628561/ThreeDText-2)

The door model looks very out of date, again use blender. It’s a free download. Here’s the application download. (blender.org)

A great suggestion here! Customize the wall, don’t use one part only. Use unions or meshes to better customize and change the wall. Builds don’t come out as good if the wall is one part, or anything in general that is just one part. Parts can be customized, not modified, but Meshes can.

Another resort is Youtube Tutorials, there is many talented builders on that platform that can help you. That’s where I have started from and it has moved me from beyond.

Other than that, your build should come out better. Lighting can change the atmosphere of your build, so take advantage of that and all the suggestions given. Good luck!

Maybe try adding some rust, vines, trees, bushes, and signs?

@Crazedbrick1 won’t be happy here, but…

  • Add custom PBR materials such as custom concrete
  • Add Several outlines around the sign
  • Add LED edges around the sign to make it more attractive (use surfacegui gradients)
  • Add a door handle and hinges, connect them with lots of screws
  • Add a CCTV camera on the outside
  • Add a few stainless steel fences around the perimeter since it’s a science lab
  • Flatten an area leading up to the door and add a pathway, then add steel railing to the sides as well as a detailed gate woth tons of screws on the hinges
  • Add outlines to the button, then make the button black glass and the text on it on a light-emitting surfacegui using the brightness property
  • Ideally make the pavement leading up to the lab out of a custom aluminium tread plate material (like diamondplate but better and 350% more reflective)
  • Add a digital sign outside with outlines, as well as a screw for maintenance.
  • Add streetlights more realistic than real life
  • Make the spotlights around the sides at least 900% more detailed, and convert to meshes to reduce performance impact
