How can I select part in model without select the model?

I want edit the model group with many parts in it .
Mouse cant select the part accurately, whitch brings me great inconvenience.
Should I do some setting options?

I found.
Just hold ALT to select.

This helped me somehow I always went into the model and took awhile to find the part ty!
