How can I set an image background color to a UI gradient?

So I wanna make the background of my image to be a UI gradient but i dont really know how, is there any way to do this or would it better to just take the image to a photo editor and put a gradient there? Any help is appreciated thanks!

create a frame and set zindex to 0 then add uigradient in the frame
then create image frame and set zindex to 1
