How can I stop this z-fighting the meshes do with a simple cylinder part?

Nothing much to say. How can I stop this z-fighting?

Could you provide a video? I am having a hard time seeing where your parts are overlapping.

They aren’t necessarily overlapping, I was referring to the spots where the two meshes connect with the cylinder where you can see some uh, “distortion”

Set the meshs’ position to the cylinder and make the mesh smaller, then just use the arrows to move the meshes to the end of the cylinder.

uh what? can you elaborate since what you’re saying is to move the mesh but I don’t see how that helps

I’m assuming this is what you are trying to do, hope this helps:

That isn’t z-fighting. There’s no overlap and no flickering. The jagged edges are because the cylinders are low poly and the edges are misaligned with the edges of other parts. You have to rotate/scale them evenly so they don’t create jagged edges if that’s what you mean.

Love your small clip, and I build using this method all the time… however watching your video i just realized that we can also use the Align Tool and align to all 3 axes in one click. Works like a charm.
