How can you rotate and move a dummy?

Hello everyone!

I’m working on improving my scripting skills, and I decided to try making a cutscene. The problem is, the cutscene needs my dummy to move and rotate, and I haven’t been able to figure out a good way to make it work.

If anyone could share some scripting examples or tips, I’d really appreciate it :slightly_smiling_face:

Thanks for taking the time to read and help!

Just use animations, makes it a whole ton easier

Thank you. This is actually a pretty good idea but I’m not that good of an animator so I’m trying to make the moving system with scripts

If your not good of an animator it still will be way easier to use animation

Do you mean that to make an animation where you just rotate dummy is that hard?

Anyways, good luck!

you can use the rotate tool to rotate the dummy

No, my cutscene is like about 20-30 seconds long and it had different camera positions. So its not like I have to only rotate the dummy but I also gotta worry about the speed of the animation(so I can change player’s camera cframe to a different camera)

You can use CFrames to do so, but as Far_2D said:

Also you would have to call Model:PivotTo(CFrame) on the dummy since moving a single part of the dummy won’t work.

Thank you for the advice. I’ll try to implement it
