this is what im trying to emulate
i imagined it would be something along the lines of using keyframe events inbetween steps or strides, and checking if the speed is past a certain threshhold, then changing the animation and its time position.
does it really need to be this complex, or can i simply make it transition with animation weight
I could be mistaken, but in the video you showed us, it appears that the horse running animation is a single animation track played in different speeds. If that is the case, increasing the speed of the animation dynamically seems to be the way to go.
