How could I improve the beginning of my game?

For the first few nights in my game, it feels kinda boring without friends, but I don’t want to make the game instantly intense, as I want to ease the player into it. What’s some things I could do to improve the beginning?

Currently the animatronics just roam, but you kinda have to go find them early game.

Any feedback is appreciated

Alright. So I just played several nights of your game. Overall, it’s not bad, but there doesn’t seem to be a definite objective or incentive—it’s just continuous repetition. I think you can greatly elevate the experience in a few ways.

  1. Lore. Perhaps you should create your own lore and use your own animatronics or entities
  2. Smarter NPCs. It might be a nice addition to have the animatronics pick up on sounds the player creates
  3. Interactive objectives. Right now, for every single task/objective, you just have to spam a proximity prompt. It would be so much more engaging if each task were unique. For example, the generator could be like the Jailbreak powerplant or Forsaken Generator puzzles.

Usually in roguelikes, the player(s) start out as weak as the enemies, and both increase at about the same rate. I would recommend making the base player weaker, but have the upgrades be stronger.
