How could i not screw up my game?

So… i’ve kind of been neglecting this game that i’ve been making not only to extreme laziness but to extreme boredom but that’s not what all of this is about.
I have a sort of plan for how the game should look like/be so quality of many things may vary.

About my game : D
This is “geisha painting” (im possibly planning to change the name). Basically this is a sort of hangout or roleplay game (oof…). But ghost towns are the least of my worries rn.
This game is inspired and designed to look like Ukiyo-e (if i wrote that right) AKA it is you inside a painting weeeeeeeew.

I’m planning to add lore to it no game is my game without it.
Well honestly i have many plans like make a cool forest maybe a flipping campfire, people, maybe even a town or maybe even seasonal changes but honestly im not a big fan of painting any of it because its kind of boring. I kind of have a pretty bad past between me and drawing. (im screwed)

Now i did make this post just to hear out some ideas or feedback or map ideas or how you would make this kind of game or whatever else
But i got a problem..
You see- since this is meant to be a painting i am very very confused on how to make this game because my building style does not match with anything that i’m trying to make : (
I have been thinking about the building being built from 2d decals as well but for me that process is even more messier but 3d is something im more used to and doesnt really confuse me on the layoutorders although it looks a bit off.
I’m really really liking how the buildings made from decals are turning out but i’m more concerned about the lag or the loading. Like the character you play as, it takes a few seconds to load in the character once it’s changed.

So rn im trying to blur the line between 2d and 3d by adding some sort of dirty screen.
Honestly i might just replace the map with a giant white void because (most) ukiyoe paintings ive seen have no background.

Also ANOTHER problem is that the 2d camera is broken so i got mad and decided to throw it out of my game. Basically the camera is meant to change angles once you click the proximityprompts to go teleport from one place to another but my yt tutorial brain cannot comprehend how to change it without it just being a random cframe.

Also i bet there is many more bugs i havent discovered, one of these bugs being that others cannot see your character change ik why and idk how to fix it.

(i got a bit lazy writing this so whatever i wrote might be a bit messy)
oh and btw the thumbnail and icon were extremely rushed aswell : ]

The video u’ve shown looks great, i cannot currently play on my laptop. But now if ur an artist, use the game to your advantage.

However with roblox’s recent communication system, i doubt anyone would still play the game, especially since rp games have dropped down alot.

in 2 dimension, the characters looks great and really gets apart from other rps, the camera can stay in 3 dimension though.

To gain off popularity from this, i’d suggest adding things you can interact with, like being lit up by a campfire or etc..
