It’s a widely known fact that booleans are an extremely useful tool for producing complicated shapes/surfaces and, for the longest time, I have avoided them for the simple reason that they produce awful topology, like in the examples below:
So, my question is: How do I clean a boolean’s topology?
Do you mean you want the edges to be beveled?
I want proper, consistent topology that doesn’t make the surface hard to edit
This is exactly what I wanted, thank you.
The part where he recommends using bevels to identify problems was really useful.
