How do i export a semi-custom rig to blender for animating

I’m trying to animate a rig that includes the regular humanoid setup with motor6ds but also skinned mesh wings. It’s possible to animate them separately and then combine the keyframes in the roblox animation editor but ideally i’d be able to export the entire rig to blender to animate it as one rig.

I have tried exporting the rig using Cautioned’s blender/roblox plugins, and while this does work it doesn’t export the bones of the skinned mesh, so they can’t be animated this way.

Something i have tried is taking the exported rig from the plugin and adding the wings’ bones myself, then importing the animation to roblox using the fbx animation import tool, but doing this seems to mess with the body parts’ positions and i’m not sure why (see image below)
