How do I fix this weird glass bug/behaviour?

Hey all, I recently made a door with a window embedded into it, however upon testing to see if it was the right height, I noticed that the glass get’s this weird buggy effect when up close, that prevents the depth of the door to be seen, which is quite annoying trying to get things to look good.

While in the studio the glass appears to be completely normal, but once I load up a test world, the glass gets this weird buggy effect when within a certain distance. This effect goes to normal when it’s looked at from some distance.

I tried changing the glass part properties to be double sided however that didn’t change a thing, I also tried changing the glass from a model to a Roblox part, but the same problem occurred. Is there a way to fix this?

The glass material acts like this on high graphics quality to make it more “realistic”. Just use semi-transparent smooth plastic if you don’t want this effect.

Insetting the glass into the door may also help (make it more thin).

Extend the glass inside the Door. I’m likely guessing that these are the edges of the glass that are being reflected.

Yeah I’ll try that, hopefully it fixes it.
