How do i make a dash like the one in this video?

So, i tried to make a dash just like the one in this video with linear velocity but i dont know, it just feel so strange and i cant reach the result i want to, is there any other methods i could use to reach this result? something different than linear velocity or linear velocity with some other thing?

I dont want any visual effects or anything for now, i just want to make the force.

you could try ApplyImpulse(), im not totally sure if it would replicate the same dash as the reference but it might work

mind sending another working video because i can guarantee linear velocity instance is good for making dashes and it will produce the desired result
