How do I make an ambience muting zone?

I’m trying to make a realistic sound mechanic in my friend’s game. Hearing wind noises and ambience sounds in buildings is not really realistic, so I’m wondering is there a way to apply an EQ effect (Muffle) to the specific sounds when being in the ambience muting zone?

The muting zone is supposed to apply EQ effect to this sounds

Note that I want to make this client side only.

I would be thankful if someone scripts it for me.

Alvin_Blox made this great tutorial on sound regions so I think this would help.

I’m not really sure how to apply effect to the sounds with a script parent.
