How do I make animatable meshes?

I keep seeing “realistic” particles in games (or maybe it’s an animatable mesh) doing something, and here is an example of that:

These are only images but they may be using beams.

To answer the question asked in the post, you can make an animatable mesh by setting up your mesh with a rig in a program like Blender and then importing the mesh and its bones to Roblox. For the examples you gave though, it does indeed seem like they’re just using the Beam instance
