How do I make someone stand if they are in a vehicle seat?

I have a vehicle seat that I put players in to control a boat. They look weird sitting and steering the boat, so I was wondering how you would make someone stand in the seat? Do I make an animation and play it maybe?

Yes. You play an animation that overwrites the siting animation(priority over the other). It is very simple.
