How do I publish my game to all ages?!

I’ve subscribed to roblox plus, verified my id and face, yet it still doesnt give me an option to choose all ages. Do I need to pay 1000 USD worth of robux just to make my game public?? What is going on with this platform??

If you complete a questionnaire, best you can get is 16+ and trusted friends, IF you don’t do anything else.

To reach all ages, you need to reach 500 highly engaged 16+ verified users. (This can be found under Audience < Reach under your game configurations), and it’ll be unlocked.

There is also a maintenance highly engaged player count to keep it, but its significantly lower than the 500 (i think 10 or so last i’ve heard)

I’m open to being corrected, but as far as I know, roblox doesn’t have a definition of “highly engaged”, which is unfortunate, but I’d assume its about playtime in your game and their status as a real player

They do and it’s a lot sadder than you’d think.

The current definition is someone who has bought or spent robux (anywhere) in the past 90 days. Nothing at all relating to engagement.
They are looking to change it, and I’m hoping that they actually change it to be more… engagement focused.

Amazing. Who would’ve guessed in order to have highly engaged players, you need players that spend money? It would be ridiculous to assume that highly engaged would depend on the engagement, right?

Indie devs have been complaining about this system since May. Roblox even rolled out a new ad type-Engagement (Beta). Personally, I’ve managed to get 175 over the past month, but I honestly have no idea how to pull off another 325 in the remaining month.

So basically its nearly impossible to publish my game to all ages unless I pay hundreds of dollars in ads or was originally already a developer with millions of visits.
