How do i stop voice chat from connecting itself

i dont want it to connect, i dont want people to be able to hear me and i dont want to hear them
it randomly connects itself too even when ive disconnected it 20 times already

I believe you can disable voice chat in settings. Under privacy & content restriction → voice chat → then switch off enabling the microphone.

setting doesnt exist anymore, i had it off before it got removed

That’s interesting… I’m still able to access the page, huh. The only way I cannot see the setting is if I switch to an account that has never had voice chat.

I’m not sure what device your using but on mine I’m also able to disable microphone input natively through my own device’s settings. Maybe that could help?

on Windows I am unable to set microphone permissions for specific desktop apps, only them as a whole and I talk to my friends over discord VC a lot so toggling that hidden desktop apps setting would be annoying

i disconnect it but every month or two it re-enables itself

I think roblox is going to try and force VC soon, now its also showing me what users have VC enabled with the icon above their head. I have my VC disconnected again and its still doing it
