How do you animate a sitting animation

Hey there people, so i tried making a cool siting animation and then it doesn’t really like does the animation it just does it for a second then it stops how do i do this, any help is good

well i want the animation to just be like a still siting animation you know?

is the animation just activated when the person goes on a chair and it’s just the sitting itself, or the animation of getting on the chair as well?

okay, so looping the animation would just keep the animation running if you don’t really move on said chair, but if it involved getting down and sitting, it would be akward.
