Look at online images of cathedrals to see how they were designed.
Most had fairly detailed columns, arches and stained glass as part of the architecture.

You could add windows and maybe even that thing for plants and flowers on the outer side of the window.

When designing, everythign is up to your imagination to create something authentic and original. Something that defines you, how you build, your style. The way you look at the picture, the design is completely up to you. If you look at a picture of a cathedral now for an example, there is a lot of depth and itty bitty details involved. I’d assume this is the back of a cathedral, so you could add pillars, patterns, make it look more 3D, add more depth to it to really bring it out. Add windows, arches, stained glass.

With patterns, experiment around to see what you like best and get the opinion from others to gain more knowledge on what else you could do to improve the build. Even a few small blocks can make a huge difference.

Goodluck my friend! It looks good so far.

Maybe you can build a balcony and some windows.

Use a brick texture for blank walls and add a few borders (i.e, a part that wraps around the wall) and that makes all the difference
