How do you make a game idea and title?

A few questions:

How do you think of a game idea?

How do you customise a game to suit all players?

This I asked myself, you most likely asked it yourself too.

Most people think of game ideas from other games, actually. Obviously they don’t take the idea and make it the exact same, but usually they will have an idea spark from another game. Mad City was likely sparked from Jailbreak. The creators of Jailbreak said their idea was sparked from Prison Life but did not like how Prison Life was focused around the prison.

As far as suiting it to all players, developers try to include as many features as possible to suit all players. Take Mad City for example, they have the prison for users who want to play in the prison, criminal jobs for people who want to be criminals and a hero job for people who like superheroes. Obviously, you can’t please all players, but including as many features as possible will expand the types of players who play the game.

Good solution. With me I just go on studio build something random and make it into something OR I find a picture that inspires me such as a cool hotel or something.

Being creative is a huge plus. Like @L7_M said, most people take game ideas from other games but they don’t make their game exactly the same. If you are creative you can come up with new things that make your game stand out from the game you took inspiration from.

Let’s imagine I was creating a game with dinosaurs:
The main quest/thing in the game would be to defeat dinosaurs.
So, I would name it The Attack of Dinosaurs.
Now let’s imagine the types.
Normal Dinosaur: Fastest type but can not attack from far away.
Max Health: 100
Time to Heal back to full health: 3 Minutes, 25 seconds.
Normal Damage: 15 per hit
Common: Flying Ones, Healing Ones
Uncommon: Sword Ones, Advanced
Rare: Level II, III.
Legendary: Level IIII.
Mythical: Fire, Level 5 & 6.
SUPER: Level 7, Beast Mode, Semi-Level 8, 2x Attack
Common Dinosaurs: One of the slowest types but have 2x health and 25 damage per hit, heal faster. Can attack from a bit further.
Rareness:
Common: Ultimate Beast Mode, Level 8 & 9.
Uncommon: Completed Beast Mode, Level 10, Advanced 2, Advanced 3, Level 11, Mastered Beast Mode.
Rare: Beast Mode 2, Level 12, Level 13, Advanced 4, Power Boost 1, Level 14.
Legendary: Golden Dinosaur, Level 15, Power Boost 2, Level 16, Diamond Dinosaur.
Mythical: Unleashed Beast Mode, Metal Dinosaur, Unleashed Diamond Dinosaur, Level 17, Power Boost 3, Level 18.
SUPER RARE: Power Boost 4, Level 19, Beast Mode Diamond Dinosaur, Level 20, Power Boost 5.
That’s all I could think of for now, I’ll get it done another day.
Edit: There would be a total of 35 quests, 10 are Common, 20 are Uncommon, 1 are Rare, 2 is Legendary, 1 is Mythical, 1 is SUPER. No Super Rare quests.
And you would get a reward for finishing them.
You create your own game idea and title, I was only thinking something you might want to make.
