How does "Museum Simulator" sound to YOU?

If you saw a game named “Museum Simulator”, what would you expect from the game? What mechanics do you think that game would have and most importantly, would it look interesting to you? If you don’t like museums, would you try this game?

I know this is broad, i just want to take opinion from people about such topics, we all know that museums are usually boring, but how do you react to a game about such a (usually) boring thing?

I would personally make something like where you could do something like cops vs. robbers. Sort of like Jailbreak where you could be a criminal and rob the museum. If you are a cop, you have to try to arrest the criminals and put back their loot. I would personally play something like this. It could have tons of potential.

Yeah that’s a good game idea i agree, but i played it once because its already out there, but with a bunch of maps like malls and mansions. Sadly i don’t remember the name of the game.

You might be talking about Theif Simulator by Funwise.

If you need more ideas, I asked ChatGPT. These sound pretty cool if you ask me:

  1. Exhibits:
  • Include a variety of exhibits spanning different historical periods, cultures, and scientific fields.
  • Create themed zones within the museum, such as ancient civilizations, space exploration, natural history, and technology.
  1. Interactive Displays:
  • Implement interactive displays that allow players to manipulate objects, solve puzzles, or engage in hands-on activities.
  • Use touchscreens, virtual reality, or augmented reality to enhance the interactive experience.
  1. Educational Quests:
  • Develop quests or missions that guide players through the museum, encouraging them to learn about specific artifacts or historical events.
  • Reward players with in-game currency or items for completing educational tasks.
  1. Customizable Museum:
  • Allow players to customize and build their own museum by selecting exhibits, decorations, and layouts.
  • Include a progression system where players unlock new features and exhibits as they advance in the game.
  1. Special Events and Challenges:
  • Introduce special events or challenges, such as hosting a themed night at the museum or dealing with unexpected situations (e.g., natural disasters, theft attempts).
  • These events can add excitement and variety to the gameplay.
  1. Staff Management:
  • Include a staff management component where players hire and train museum guides, researchers, and security personnel.
  • Managing staff can impact the success of the museum, affecting factors like visitor satisfaction and exhibit maintenance.
  1. Historical Storyline:
  • Integrate a compelling storyline that unfolds as players progress through the museum.
  • Include historical characters or fictional elements that tie the exhibits together into a cohesive narrative.
  1. Multiplayer Features:
  • Implement multiplayer options, allowing players to collaborate or compete in managing their museums.
  • Include features like trading artifacts, visiting each other’s museums, or working together on special events.
  1. Mini-Games and Challenges:
  • Include mini-games related to museum activities, such as artifact restoration, archaeological digs, or solving historical mysteries.
  • These mini-games can break up the gameplay and provide additional layers of engagement.
  1. Accessibility and Inclusivity:
  • Ensure the game is accessible to a wide audience, considering features like adjustable difficulty levels, subtitles, and alternative control options.
  • Represent diverse perspectives and cultures in the exhibits to make the game inclusive and educational.

Consider this for updating the game if you decide to create it:

  • Keep the game fresh by regularly introducing new exhibits, quests, and challenges through updates.
  • Encourage community engagement by considering player suggestions for future content.

Nope it was cops vs robbers and both teams were players, idk if the game even still exists. Also i milked chatgpt for ideas but they’re either too complicated or already exist.

Sorry friend, got nothing else you could do.
