How Does Roblox Confirm Game Contributors for Verification

Hey everyone,

I’m hoping to get some clarity on how Roblox handles contributor recognition, especially when it comes to being verified for working on a game. I’ve contributed to three different games where the owners are already verified, but I haven’t been recognized as an official contributor.

Has anyone been verified just from contributing to a game they didn’t own? If so, how did that happen for you?

If you’ve been through this or have any insight, I’d really appreciate hearing your experience. Anything small can help.

Thanks in advance! :grinning:

I’d also like to hear more about this, as I myself have contributed to games with 1M+ hours within the last 90 days, and haven’t heard anything about it.

One of the requirements is that you must have over 10,000 followers on Roblox, which you do not. That’s why you do not have the verified badge.

My alt has 114k followers. I believe thats enough xD

You must have Edit Access for a game that has over 1M+ Playtime hours within the last 90days (basically be able to edit the game, publish updates/such), and likely a role that mentions you are a developer for the game.

Must also have 10k+ Real Followers, however i think Verification is currently paused for Contributors (but i could be wrong) because of bad actors from a-while ago (By bad actors, i mean people that were selling the Verification Mark for 3K+USD which violates the Rules and at same time is dumb).
