my account was disabled from August 4th to August 8th. The reason was that it was linked to another account. During that time, I sent over 50 unban requests, but nothing worked. I also contacted a lawyer to see what options I have, and I made a lot of posts on Twitter.
After that, my account suddenly got unbanned. Many people asked me how I did it, but the story is not what I first thought.
About one month before this, I was already banned for 14 days for the same reason (linked account), but with a different linked account.
The reason for all of this goes back to 2021 and 2022. Back then, I logged into two accounts from friends and changed the email to mine for a short time. Later, my friends got their accounts back and changed everything to the original data again.
But somehow, all three accounts stayed linked. This means if one account gets banned, all linked accounts get banned too.
One of my friends got hacked, and his account was disabled. Because of the link, my account got disabled too. Luckily, he got his account back, and that also unbanned my account.
I contacted support to remove the link between the accounts, but I still did not get any answer.
So be careful: if you ever used your email on someone else’s account, even years ago, this can still cause problems.
In my opinion, the system and support are bad and need to be fixed. Keeping these links for so many years should not happen.

That’s my story of how I got unbanned. This only applies to my case. I don’t know how it works for others, and I don’t know a general solution.
