How is my vehicle shop UI

,

I am working on a roleplay game and I designed a UI for the vehicle shop.

Any feedback is appreciated!

Looks nice! It’s small, in my opinion. The buy button is way too small, it should be somewhere on the left or right hand side as a side button or something.

I’ll be sure to enlarge it when I put it into the game. Thanks for the feedback.

I think this needs a lot more consistency in terms of alignment, the buy button doesnt seem to be aligned with the rest of the ui and it overall looks disconnected

the horizontal and vertical gaps of the gridded buttons arent equal either, I would work on that

I like the grayscale color theme but try to make the color of the text a bit more distinct from the rest of the background, it could look like it could blend it from a far distance (good example being the buy button)

this ui also feels a bit empty, there could be a little more finishing details, the grayscale is fine but adding a tiny bit more individuality with shapes like some roundness or a more colorful background with a pattern

maybe a bit of inner shadow or make the outline pop a bit more, some gradients could be introduced but only in subtle places and not the major parts that take up most of the ui

its a good foundation, you just need to add a bit more to it and then start building up!

Currently, the buy button is just there for show. Each cube will get its own buy button. I agree with the rounding. I will probably add some moderate rounding to the UI. I like the idea for some small gradients, and I will enhance the color of the text like you said. Thank you for the feedback.

I would love to see the changes! reply to this post with the end product!
im excited to see what you do in the future
good luck!

A lot of upscaling should be done. Buttons look a little small to me, and those frames where vehicles are shown should be more long horizontally. And change up the color scheme.

Here is the updated version.

I made the color of the text lighter and added a very light gradient to the item boxes, and the buy buttons. I also put a very light inner shadow (May be hard to see due to the dark theme of the DevForum) to enhance the border a bit. I also rounded the corners on the item boxes.

I suggest making the top text stand out slightly more, and maybe make the background darker.

heres an example:

Make also add a texture to the background like a subtle stripes pattern

that looks way better than the original one
