How large can a map be before floating point errors start to appear?

I’m thinking of creating a game that has a fairly large Smooth Terrain based map, but I’m worried about floating point errors. I have experienced minor floating point errors in normal games before by just walking for a while, so I think it’s reasonable to worry about this. if anyone has tested this before or knows an answer, then I’d appreciate it greatly.

I believe I saw a video in the old Roblox Forums where someone kept teleporting their character or a model X number of studs and the Parts started to distort from each other, but it was pretty large distances.
Sorry, don’t know if you can search the old threads for something of the sort.

Play The Floating Point Zone to see how large of a distance you can go before things get strange.
