Hello, so i just finished making my simulator game and i’m kinda confused i don’t know what to spend my money on. Sponsors or ads? and how much robux should i spend to get arround 30 concurrent players?
Thank you!
Hello, well there have been many threads like this before and to summarize, it depends. The best way I think to go about this is to experiment and see what works for your game. I once published a tycoon game and ran 15k in sponsors and 5k in ads, and for some reason, the ads worked a lot better for me than to sponsor the game. Also don’t advertise your game as I did in basically two big runs, instead go for several smaller runs.
Of course, if you have a great game you will have no issues with getting players if you advertise but I think the best advice is to experiment.
Good luck!
I personally run one or two 15-30k ads on Sundays, as it keeps the plays up a bit for the rest of the week. Sunday gets about 2.5x if I don’t run ads and the rest of the week like 1.3x-1.5x.
I have yet to try 5k-ish throughout the week, but the way my game is, large updates aren’t frequent enough to justify it.(in my opinion) Might give it a go though.
Don’t use ads if it’s a simulator. Go with sponsors, First, experiment different icons until you get a good ctr and fix all bugs. After that, sponsor 5-10k for 30 players, it depends though.
