How much Terrain is too much?

This question goes out to the terrain developers: how much is too much? Has anyone done any stress tests with the new smooth terrain? I’m getting into using terrain and I have a 2000x250x2000 map of mountainous terrain that runs pretty smoothly, and it’d be cool to see how large I could make it without effecting performance too much

This is kinda hard to say, because it will probably be different per player’s computer. Ideally with very large terrain, you could use StreamingEnabled and that would help performance.

Id say if your making like 4 extra large biomes then thats too much

I’m currently working on a terrain sized 12,000x6,000 and I don’t experience any lag.
But my client memory usage was a little over 1,000mb.
