How "Precise" is Region3

So. I am making a Placement System.
Obviously, everything must be precise, and people can’t place out of grid.
What I plan to do is
A Region3…
But, how does it works actually?

In this case ^ will Region3 of the White part detect red part?

I’d say: “probally”. I am not the greatest expert around Region3, but I know a little.

Region 3’s are pretty accurate, up the the floating point limit(which are basically unnoticeable).

Regions don’t detect face intersection but if an edge is intersecting with an area, so, the red part will be detected by the white part.

The FindPartsInRegion3 function returns the touching parts inside the Region so it might not work, but the article recommends using the GetTouchingParts function, so you should just try out both and see what works better.

Hm thanks for answers
I will just do my own math to detect if it’s close
