Hello, my name is Advareo. I recently released an obby game, and I have been advertising it for the past week, spending 500 robux a day (~3000 robux loss). My obby features a skip stage, fling all, and gear shop gamepass, yet I have only made about 280 robux back from my ads. I’m unsure if this is because of my game itself or not enough advertising. I feel that the game itself is generally fun to play and easy to understand, however. Any help is appreciated!
Just played and finished the game. I really like it! It’s fun, it’s unique, and it’s really cool! I love how there are cutscenes and different areas. I don’t think you have to improve the game gameplay-wise, I think it’s already the best it can be.
As for why the game doesn’t profit as much as you’d hoped for, I think you could advertise things the player can buy as they progress in the game. Near checkpoints for stages, you could have a little area showcasing a gravity coil or speed coil or something, and have a little sign that prompts the player to buy it. When a player dies 4-5 times on a single stage, you could show a little prompt at the top of their screen asking them if they want to buy a gravity coil or skip stage. When the player beats the obby, you could prompt them to buy the laser gun or fling all. Don’t make the prompts too frequent, but just enough so the player notices them.
The game looks nice but the reason why you aren’t making much off it is probably because you don’t put gear like rainbow carpet or speed coil after every checkpoint, you could also make a skip stage pop-up GUI after someone dies. Roblox isn’t the only platform where you can advertise your game, you could also advertise it on TikTok or pay some famous Roblox youtube to play your game and advertise it.
