How should i polish my maps?

Hello,
recently i finally finished first release of my new game. Overall, the feedback is positive, however one thing looms over me - build quality. Game is set in various zones underground where you mine rocks to get ores. Zones aren’t large, usually around a minute to walk through them. Altough they aren’t barebones, people tell me that they lack polish and they give off a feeling that they are missing something. I think it has to do with the bland texture of wide clear spaces. What do you recommend me to fix so it gets more soul?

There are more but you get the feeling.
With spawned rocks inside them it looks like this:

Thanks in advance

if you are going with a smooth plastic feel, you need to have lots of interesting shapes to keep the feel, (having meshed rocks next to ones made of parts breaks the feel immediately)

I would find smooth plastic-ish pattern textures to put on the walls and floor so its not so bland

Do you recommend any? I dont put textures anywhere at all, only one i have is in the floor of one of the buildings:

Idk why the colors are so bright, might have to do something with my hdr.
The texture are the hexagons on the floor here, however i think the look goofy and weird?

Maybe change the floor to the concrete material?
