So, im kinda new to developing and I need ideas on how to advertise my military roleplaying game. My game detials are below.
My Game Description
So, I took inspiration from a game called Fort Alberta. In this case I have a “Fort”/Military Base/Border Checkpoint game in development. You would be able to get a job in the military or be a civilian and explore. The game will be completely free during alpha and release but during beta ill have it paid accses to see how much people want to play. It will be in a WW2 style meaning WW2 guns and teams. It will also have some ww2 builds. So, to get to the point, would you play it?
If you have any ideas i.e Certian Ad, Certian Robux On Ad, Type Of Ad etc leave it in the comments
I haven’t done a whole lot of advertising, but from what I’ve seen, Sponsoring is far more effective than making banner ads. Banners are affected by Adblockers, and I’m pretty sure a good portion of the community has them. Sponsored games are not affected by this, however, and as such, is seen by more people.
Take this with a grain of salt though, as this is just my speculation. I don’t have any large statistics to show for this, just that I get more clicks on sponsors than any type of ad, per robux spent.
You could sponsor you game 5k each time until you earn profit, if you don’t earn profit you should make your game more “fun.” You can also do ads the same way.
Sponsoring the game would be the most effective solution since nothing can block it and you can get a lot of players having it on the popular page or top rated because those are the first to things they look at before scrolling down to look at other types of games others have to offer.
I wouldn’t spend more than 1K Robux on advertising, 1K is more than enough to see if it works. Also advertising during the weekdays gets more views than on the weekend, but if you advertise across the weekdays, the results are better, usually.
For ads, make sure you have 2: One horizontal and one vertical banner. Both should be different from each other, but the same style and feel.
