Getting objects/parts to align - What is the issue?
I don’t really know how to align well, and everything looks off when i build. - What solutions have you tried so far?
Been trying to find tutorials on how to align well but i can’t find any. Been using the stud moving thing
Notes: I have been aligning objects/parts by eye, not really working.
Can you post some screenshots? Also, your formatting is a bit off. You don’t need to respond to the questions in the formatting thing like that, just make it flow naturally, as long as you mention those things in the prompt.
What is your stud movement rate set to? To align things, what I usually do is I drag it without using the move tool onto the side of the item that I want to have it aligned with, then I use the move tool set to 0.125 studs and drag it until the white surface touching indicator is as large as possible. Alternatively you can also make the coordinates the same as the part you are trying to align it with and move it to where you want it to be.
Turn on move and set it to an optimal setting that you are comfortable with. I recommend using 0.1 move. When you do this, make the part go off into the void and put it back onto the baseplate. When done, it will automatically align onto the baseplate grid. You can also use transform to see the studs around the part.
I sometimes have it at 0.25 or 0.125, but it still feels off
Thanks! Il try that next I make a military thing
Set your sizing to 0.1. Instead of 0.
