How to apply the description of a Dummy to the player?

  1. What do you want to achieve?
    I have a dummy, called char. This dummy has a shirt, bodycolor, humanoid, accessories and I want the appearence from this to apply to the player. Instead of just getting all the acessories manually is it possible by using the LoadCharacterWithHumanoidDescription() function?
  2. What is the issue?
    Not working.

Local Script

local charAppearenceHumanoid = char.Humanoid:GetAppliedDescription()
		print(charAppearenceHumanoid)
		applyCharDetailEvent:FireServer(game.Players.LocalPlayer, charAppearenceHumanoid)

Server Script

applyCharDetailEvent.OnServerEvent:Connect(function(player, humanoidDesc)
	print("save button clicked!")
	print(player)
	player:LoadCharacterWithHumanoidDescription(humanoidDesc)

end)

This is the returned error:

Argument 1 is invalid: expected 'HumanoidDescription' instance type - Server - Character Handler:131

This is in the server script.

I think you need to remove this because the player adds itself automatically.

I think I understand what your saying, my values are messed up.

A new error

 Argument 1 missing or nil - Server - Character Handler:140

changed code:

applyCharDetailEvent.OnServerEvent:Connect(function(player, humanoidDesc)
	print("save button clicked!")
	print(player)
	player:LoadCharacterWithHumanoidDescription(humanoidDesc)

end)
	local charAppearenceHumanoid = char.Humanoid:GetAppliedDescription()
		print(charAppearenceHumanoid)
		applyCharDetailEvent:FireServer(charAppearenceHumanoid)
