How to connect two attachments with prismatic constraints without messing up anything else?s

I need to make a prismatic constraint like this (the yellow line):

I need for the wheel to keep spinning in the same way, as if it’s unaffected. I need the block’s left side to stay parallel to the wheel’s face (they already are in this picture, but aren’t connected)

The result I’m expecting:
The block to rotate with the wheel, but staying parallel in orientation, and to be able to change the settings of the prismatic constraint so that it extends/contracts at a 45 degree angle from the center of the wheel.

Here’s the file for convenience:
Place1.rbxl (54.0 KB)

Thanks! :D

usually you need two parts the wheel and a hinge for the wheel to turn on

Yes, behind the wheel there is a white cylinder. That has one of the two attachments for the hinge constraint, the second attachment being parented to the wheel itself :D

oh well the you shuld be able to use one of those parts and it won’t affect how it spins aslng as the hinge is seperates

Could you do that for me with the example file (Place1.rbxl)? I don’t really understand what you mean, and I think I’ve already tried it and it didn’t work because the wheel got all wonky. Could you do it without adding any additional attachments?
