How to create infinite swimmable water?

Im making an open world game and im trying to create infinite water that has waves and is swimmable, and boats can float on it.

I see alot of people talk about moving the part as the player moves, but I would have to do that on the client and boats cannot float if I do it on the client(unless the boats are spawned on the client but that prevents other players from seeing it)

I have also tried just generating terrain water with a moving part in a runservice loop but thats really laggy during the loop, and even after when everything has been generated.

if there is anyone with any solutions please assist :folded_hands:
If you need a reference for the water im trying to recreate (blox fruits/rell seas)

Hi!
If you want to create custom ocean/waves you can read these drafts:

Optimized EditableMesh Ocean Project

Or if u need an ocean like in “Blox Fruits”* you can read and watch similiar topics anout this:

How is Blox Fruits water system done?

How do I create an infinite ocean effect with a part instead of terrain?

Hi, alot of these do work for custom waves yes but they are not really swimmable. Its either a custom wave system thats not swimmable or the solution is to put “Fog” but I dont want to immitate infinite water, I actually want infinite water. Like how Rell Seas did it with custom waves but its also swimmable??

Please help me out man.

in short words, this is similiar to one piece game seas
