How to ctrl f a specific part of the whole script i.e. highlight a section of a script and only apply control f there
Someone (not gonna name who) told me my english was bad, note its not my first language and I probably speak more langauges then someone who only knows english
I’m not sure this is currently a feature that Roblox supports, it’s a great idea and suggestion if they don’t though.
Do you mean to replace or find that section of code?
Can’t you use the Find or Replace tool in the toolbar? Highlight the section of code and copy/paste it into the tool.
I think they want to highlight a certain area of code, and find a certain phrase within that highlighted zone.
How big is the Handle Part of the tool?
If it’s very tiny there may be this kind of issue.
yes thats what I want, it seems like vs code has this so i might try rojo
Rojo or Argon would be perfect
Theres so many things wrong or missing from Roblox studio, especially their code editor. If they don’t improve or catch up with what most IDEs have, then theres no reason to not migrate over with Rojo or Argon. The whole studio in general is pretty crappy and inefficient. There are many things missing from it which makes the experience really frustrating, and inefficient/tedious in the long run. Their debugger is also crappy as well, and I can’t seem to find a command line interface for it. Another thing that I can’t find in studio is a command line interface for asset uploading or more stuff and I can’t believe they don’t have that yet! It makes asset uploading much more efficient in a command line based environment.
