i’ve been trying my best to use a bunch of different thumbnails. all my other stats are good but qualfiied playthrough rate is so much lower then the rest. i just cant get it up whatsoever
Create a bright, eye catching thumbnail that makes players curious about your game.
But the better question is, how did you get a 44 minute average playtime??
Lmao im just trying to engage the players alot, game is called soulrift if you wanna check it out
Mind giving me feedback on the thumbnails if you do?
Of course! ![]()
I think this thumbnail is probably the weakest of all. The baseplate background with the default sword doesn’t really get me excited to play the game. Instead, I would focus on creating an image that makes players curious about what it would be like to play your game. For example, you could show an intense sword fight or beautiful scenery.
This thumbnail is more colorful than the first, but it doesn’t tell players anything about your game. Many players who enjoy action games might not click your thumbnail because they had no idea what genre it was. This same feedback applies to all of the other thumbnails too. And by the way, your drawings are very good-looking!
Should i show like a clashing of some sort? 2 characters fighting eachother, would that show a bigger idea of the game?
Yes, that would be a good idea.
A good Roblox thumbnail typically does two things:
- Gives the player a basic understanding of what the game is about (in this case, fighting/action)
- Depicts a fantasy or experience that a player is curious about (in this case, that could be fighting a powerful boss on the edge of a cliff)
It’s still kind of difficult to tell what’s going on. The character in the back is kind of blurred out and the knife looks like it’s floating in the air. Maybe try and use Roblox character rigs instead of drawings
hi, sorry for the late reply but i tried making another thumbnail using roblox rigs like you said.
does this work better?
Best one yet. Now, I would make it brighter and remove the yellow streaks.
