How to go about making mug handles?

Hi, I’m making a cafe and I want to put a giant mug like thing on the top. I’ve seen other people do similar things and I wanted to do it too, but I’m not sure how to go about making a handle. I don’t have blender or anything so I have to make it in studio. Does anyone know how I would make one? Thanks.

What kind of handle are you going for? An arched handle or a blocky square handle?

I was hoping for a round arched kind of handle.

There’s two ways to do this, you could go to mesh parts in the toolbox and search “Arch” or you could make your own.

Here is how you make your own:

You could grab a cylinder, make it a circle.

Cut it off to make it a half circle by negating a block and then unioning it.

Insert another cylinder and make it a different color so you can see, now position it something like this:

Now negate it and union it with the half circle we made, now you have your handle!

I assume youre wanting to do something like this:

Im that case blender would be the choice, heres a video by Blender Guru that goes very in depth on how to make this sort of thing.

@AdvancedDrone’s method works fine, but if you want to make it quickly I suggest using Archimedes 2 (link). It’s pretty self-explanatory to use. It can make curves and circles for you with a press of a button instead of using a bunch of unions.

Ok thanks, I was having a bit of trouble with the unions and what not so that might work better.
