How to make a 3d atmosphere?

I want to achieve to make a 3d atmosphere like PulsarNovas atmosphere but more basic
I cant get the player to get detected by height.
I looked for solutions on developer hub and none seem to be helping.

Hey. What methods of detecting the player’s height have you tried?

ive tried touch scripts and they wont work, I think its because I used a local script, but I wanted it to be a local script.
