How to make a GUI display a leaderstat

I want to make a Text GUI display a leaderstat. I’ve looked on this forum and scriptinghelpers and nothing has worked so far. How would I do this?

textgui.Text = leaderstat.Value

I realized I left in a line of code when I tried to make the leaderstat not appear in the leaderboard and I had the right code, but thanks for helping anyways.
