How to make optimized trees with decals

Hello guys,

I made some trees with decals and invisible parts


but they make lags on my game, how can I optimise it ?

The only possible way to optimize it is to have a lower resolution texture. I don’t recommend using this type of design for trees because of the lag.

use meshes with surface appearance with transparency mode, please never make trees using meshes with little big of transparency, it will literally destroy your game perfomance
i can give you few different low poly tree models, here

oh and yes use you need to use mesh importer to import these two trees
