The way i attatch my armor is through welding in my script (script isnt the problem nor is the players model) I want to find a way to model around the animation so that way i dont have to keep messing with the base model if that makes sense ig.
On r6, you would just make a whole strip for the leg but since this is r15 i have to make a individual part for each limb / body part (lower leg uper leg etc) so it can weld and be worn properly
I am brand new to modeling in blender, and I have tried for 2 days straight to get a formula to consistently make armor pieces for a r15 model, but I cant figure it out. It looks fine on the dummy / model (when no animations are playing) but when an animation plays the model gets all contorted and doesnt fit right.
Ive got the chestplate figured out but more flexible parts like the legs wrist and etc are gonna pmo
I tried to resize the parts inside of each other in blender to combat this but it does this stupid clipping thing where the parts look weird. (Idk if i diagnosed it it right but it looks weird ok
)
