Hello! I have 2 parts:
Part1 and Part2
Part2 is welded to Part1
like shown:
When I try to move Part1’s cframe, Part2 doesn’t follow. Why is this?
Are your parts anchored? That’s the first thing that comes to mind for me.

why do they need to be unanchored, kinda annoying 
Yeah its a definite problem starter for me all the time; especially since anchored is the default property on new parts
Well if it’s Anchored then it won’t move unless you move it through a script.
Welds only work for physics objects like moving parts, or items welded to an Anchored part that is being tweened.
