How to override friction on vectorforce by multiplication

what should i do so that when the player is running or whatever the vector force is multiplied, or so that when the player is jumping/falling/swimming then their vector force is divided

I’m confused on what your asking, characters don’t have built in vector forces to my knowledge, are you referring to the walkspeed?

no, so basically, im making a roll script, when u press q, it adds a vectorforce that does stuff and plays anim and stuff and destroys it after, so i am referring to that
