How to remove this annoying script editor white bar?

Hi, so I was just scripting when this annoying white bar just popped up instead of the usual cursor icon line. When I type anything it removes the character on the letter with the new letter I pressed which is not what I want. Anyway to remove this?

Press Insert button on your keyboard.

Press insert i think, i think that will fix the problem.
